One of the bonus features with the AET range (and the only transformer manufacturer to do this) is the input and output wires are located on the top of the transformer and hidden by a cover. This saves on space, excess and untidy cable floating around the light housing and allows the cable the shortest access up through the locating spindle to the transformer.
This is an 80w halogen transformer with a minimum input of 20w.
