08/12/20 - As technology advances more and more Chinese manufacturers cease producing PCB components which makes it harder for companies to produce their parts and this model is no exception.
2x42w ballasts are becoming increasingly difficult for us to source as companies struggle to obtain components with some moving to newer technology as a result.
SaveMyLight is finding that particular light fittings or the placement of the light fitting itself are decreasing the life of the ballast due to a lack of adequate ventilation passing through the light fitting housing. This is causing the ballast to severely overheat and fail. This is not a manufacturing defect.
The location of the light fitting is also a key factor. Most notably units installed in areas with variable temperature differences (conservatories, kitchens and bathrooms) are also having a severe effect on the ballast thus reducing the life of the product.
Some of our customers have expensive light fittings containing a ballast who are quite happy to repeatedly purchase replacement units to keep the light fitting going. As such we offer this product without a guarantee at a reduced price as the guarantee in this situation would be void.
Customers must ensure their light fitting housing has adequate ventilation. If not further vent holes must be made or the ballast sited in the void of the ceiling or other location.

The HLV3527LT is one of Huibolong's latest range of touch dimmable LED Drivers.
This model has a 9w LED output at 350mA.
The lighting circuit must be running 350mA for the product to work correctly.
This product is only suitable as a replacement if you are currently using this model in your light fitting.
It will not work as a replacement to another model. It is not compatible with any other mA voltage range.
